Horsedrawn Tram ... The Horse Drawn Trams are a South Australian icon and have a long history of serving visitors to Victor Harbor since 1894. Powerful Clydesdale horses pull the trams over the bay across the spectacular 630m Causeway that joins the mainland to Granite Island. Each tram carries about 50 passengers and runs on roller bearings, to make it easy work for the horses. Tickets for the Tram can be purchased at the Victor Harbor Visitor Information Centre or on the Tram from the friendly conductors. (Close)
