The
Bluff ...
The trail from the carpark on the South side of the Bluff is an easy but
steady climb up to the saddle. Huge granite boulders seem to balance precariously
on the edge of the cliff-face. Petrel Cove is immediately below. West Island
is a conservation park for sea birds, seals and penguins. King Beach is
the bay below the first headland. The sheer black cliffs in the distance
are Newland Head. The famous Heysen trail follows the cliff's edge just
south of King Head around Newland Head to Waitpinga Beach. (Close)
