The Bluff ... The trail from the carpark on the South side of the Bluff is an easy but steady climb up to the saddle. Huge granite boulders seem to balance precariously on the edge of the cliff-face. Petrel Cove is immediately below. West Island is a conservation park for sea birds, seals and penguins. King Beach is the bay below the first headland. The sheer black cliffs in the distance are Newland Head. The famous Heysen trail follows the cliff's edge just south of King Head around Newland Head to Waitpinga Beach. (Close)
